Discovering Who Jesus Is
The world knows that 2,000 years ago a man named Jesus came from the town of Nazareth in what is now called Israel. He traveled about the region and gained a large following. After a few years, the religious leaders in Jerusalem falsely accused him of crimes and handed him over to the Roman authorities. They executed him by nailing him to a cross.
Good News of Christ
Jesus died to take on the sins of humanity, offering forgiveness and reconciling us to God, so that whoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Church Story
Founded on April 15, 1967, Oro Baptist Church began as a small gathering at the residence of missionary James Stanley in Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City. With 14 devoted members, including pioneers like the Baccaro and Padinit families, the church was officially organized, embodying unity and faith.
On April 30, 1996, the church was officially renamed Oro Baptist Church Incorporated, symbolizing its enduring mission of faith, service, and community growth.
